Full job description

ALCO Energy Solutions designs, fabricates, and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. Alco is seeking B-Pressure Welders with spooling experience to work within our production facility.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Reporting to the department foreman, the successful candidate’s duties include, but are not limited to:

The ability to use tools and equipment safely, while abiding by the health and safety rules
Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and helping others maintain their work area
Basic fabrication experience and skill set with pressure vessel manufacturing
Welding of pressure vessels
Fitment of pressure vessels to meet drawing and code requirements
Working at heights is required, training will be provided

Preferred Skills:

In this role, the successful candidates will have:

3+ years of experience in welding and fabrication of pressure vessels and spooling
Pre-test required to be passed
Ability to weld with the following practices: SMAW and GMAW
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions
Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders

Working Conditions:

You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
Longer than 10.0 hour work days may be required with short notice, must be available to work weekends when needed

Physically demanding position
