Laborer – Acadian Wipers

Location: Digby, Nova Scotia

Job Type: Full-time

About Us:

Acadian Wipers is a trusted name in textile recycling and industrial wiping cloth production. We are committed to safety, reliability, and efficiency in everything we do. We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our team and support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Load and unload materials into and out of balers and other production equipment.

· Safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

· Follow all safety policies and wear required steel-toed shoes and PPE.

· Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

· Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Show consistent reliability, responsibility, and dependability in daily work.

· Meet the physical demands of the position on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is an asset, but not required.

· Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

· Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Valid Forklift Certificate

WHMIS

First Aid

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.

Work Environment:

· Industrial/warehouse setting.

· Steel-toed footwear and PPE required.

· Physically active, fast-paced environment.
