Full job description

Notre-Boeuf-De-Grâce is looking for an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead our restaurant team. We're searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while building a positive, high-performing team.

As Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including team leadership, guest satisfaction, financial performance, food quality, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in driving the success of the restaurant while maintaining our high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong front and back of house team.
Foster a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture.
Ensure every guest receives outstanding service and a memorable dining experience.
Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and overall operational standards.
Maintain compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient labour coverage.
Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll reports.
Analyze sales, labour, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Work closely with ownership to achieve business goals and drive continued growth.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful team.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and hospitality standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and payroll reporting.
Bartending experience is considered an asset.
