Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and management software. The Site Superintendent will coordinate between subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution and ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules
Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and quality standards
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software
Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating as needed
Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols and quality control measures
Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams regarding progress, issues, or changes
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Skills

Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools
Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of site operations
Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards on construction sites
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective leadership capabilities with a focus on team coordination and problem-solving
Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of work quality
Familiarity with construction management best practices and regulatory compliance
