Job description:
The Back End Bakery Clerk is responsible to carry out a variety of duties in a professional, safe, accurate and timely manner. Exceptional customer service is expected, as is working respectfully in a team environment. The Back End Bakery Clerk reports directly to the Bakery Manager. The successful candidate MUST be available to start work for 5am and 6am.

Job Description

Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, OH&S procedures, store policies, programs and initiatives.
Assist and answer customer questions and concerns, providing them with a positive shopping experience.
Cleaning, tidying, straightening.
Preparing, scaling, mixing, cutting, panning, proofing and baking.
Putting away stock.
Preparing for the next day.
Ensuring product is top quality.
Other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Ability to work quickly, independently and as part of a team.
Being open to change and new ideas.
Availability including weekends and early mornings.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and spend entire shift standing/walking.

Experience is strongly preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.

Part-time hours: 24-32 hours per week.
