Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Rope Access Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and inspecting high, hard-to-reach structures with precision and safety. In this role, you will utilize specialized rope access techniques to perform a variety of tasks including facility maintenance, cleaning, and inspections. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in challenging environments, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep facilities in top condition while adhering to strict safety standards and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Use rope access techniques to perform inspections, maintenance, and cleaning on tall structures, buildings, or industrial equipment
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
Conduct routine facility maintenance including cleaning hard-to-reach areas and ensuring environmental cleanliness standards are met
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and report progress or issues
Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of harnesses, ropes, and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Assist with custodial duties as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness across various sites
Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Experience

Prior experience in facilities maintenance, commercial cleaning or custodial work is highly desirable
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting is essential for safe operation and task completion
Strong communication skills are necessary for clear reporting and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities
Knowledge of safety procedures related to rope access work and working at heights is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in challenging environments is required for success in this role
