Join the Department of Cell Biology in a full-time, one-year ATS position that offers an exciting opportunity to teach in a dynamic academic environment. With a teaching load up to six courses per year, this role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sharing their expertise in cell biology and inspiring the next generation of scientists.

The appointee must be able to teach topics/courses such as:

Cell differentiation, intracellular and extracellular signaling, the cell cycle, apoptosis and necrosis at advanced undergraduate (3rd, 4th year) levels

Advanced cell biology, or organelles

General topics in molecular cell biology at the 2nd year level
-
The application of modern cell biology techniques, including cell growth, microscopy and genetic manipulation in a lab environment

Additional duties related to course coordination, curriculum revision and development

Ph.D. degree with a focus in molecular cell biology

Extensive experience in a laboratory environment

Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced degree and/or extensive experience in teaching cell biology

The amount of previous teaching experience, especially in the post-secondary environment will also be considered.
