Graphic Designer & Brand Production Specialist
(Full-Time, Part-Time or Permanent)
Location: South Edmonton, Alberta (In Person)
Compensation: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio and demonstrated skill.
About the Position
We are a growing group of businesses involved in retail, commercial printing, events, branding and consumer products. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys seeing their work become real products.
This is a hybrid role that combines graphic design, branding, print production, customer service and social media. Every day brings different projects, from designing product packaging and event signage to preparing commercial print files and assisting customers with their printing needs.
We are open to hiring someone on a full-time, part-time or permanent basis depending on the candidate and our business needs.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate may work on:
- Product packaging
- Retail product labels
- Logos and branding
- Business cards
- Flyers
- Brochures
- Posters
- Large-format signage
- Banners
- Stickers
- Commercial print materials
- Print-ready production artwork
- Social media graphics using our existing templates
- Preparing supplier-ready files for manufacturing
- Customer artwork revisions and proof approvals
- Meeting with customers to understand project requirements
- Assisting with print production and finishing
- Learning and operating digital printing and finishing equipment (training provided)
- Organizing project files and maintaining brand assets
This position supports multiple brands and businesses, so the work is varied and fast-paced.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
- Good understanding of typography, layout and composition
- Experience preparing artwork for print
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Assets:
- Adobe InDesign
- Packaging design experience
- Commercial print shop experience
- Large-format signage experience
- Social media design experience
- Experience using AI-assisted design tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Vectorizer.ai, Recraft or similar
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for occasional local deliveries
Training Provided
Training will be provided on:
- Digital print equipment
- Large-format printers
- Finishing equipment
- Internal production workflow
- Company brand standards
- Print production processes
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is required with every application.

Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a paid practical design assessment based on a real-world project. The assessment is intended to evaluate technical ability, workflow, organization and production readiness.
