Starting Wage: $20.00/hour

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organized Wedding & Event Décor Manager to join our team. This role combines sales, client relations, décor planning, staff leadership, and event execution. You will be the main point of contact for décor-related services and will work closely with our Event Manager to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations & Sales

Meet with clients to discuss décor needs, themes, and event details
Provide décor recommendations, packages, and upsell opportunities
Prepare quotes, take payments, and manage décor-related invoices
Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and future business opportunities

Décor Planning & Execution

Design and plan décor layouts for mainly weddings and receptions and some corporate events, and banquets
Oversee full décor setup and teardown for each event
Ensure décor inventory is organized, maintained, and ready for use
Coordinate with vendors when required (florists, rental companies, etc.)

Event Coordination

Work closely with the Event Manager to support overall event operations
Assist with timelines, floor plans, and event-day coordination
Troubleshoot décor or event-related issues quickly and professionally

Team Leadership

Hire, train, and supervise décor staff and event setup crew
Create staff schedules for décor setup and teardown
Ensure team members follow venue standards, safety rules, and décor procedures

Administration & Organization

Track décor inventory, supplies, and ordering needs
Maintain client records, contracts, and payment logs
Provide weekly updates to management on upcoming events and décor plans

Qualifications

Must have 1-2 years experience in event décor, event planning, hospitality, or related fields
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple events at once
Creative eye for décor, design, and aesthetics
Ability to lift décor items and work flexible hours (evenings/weekends as needed)
