JS Wellness Counselling and Consulting Services offers a modern approach to counselling while remaining grounded in evidence-based theory. We provide direct services to the community and we provide onsite consultations to Mental Health Professionals in and surrounding the Edmonton area. THE OPPORTUNITY

We have made significant changes in the past year and are now expanding our team.JS Wellness prides themselves on team work and flexibility. We are looking to hire innovative and ambitious R. Psychologists, Provisional Psychologists, and Clinical Social Workers.

We’ve got you covered:

You’ll join our team as a contractor
You will build a full client load in a relatively short amount of time due to our investment in business marketing and operations, we are able to support our clinicians case loads.
Focus on your clients, we’ll do the rest. This means finding you clients, scheduling, contacting clients, etc.
You will have a flexible work/life balance. Almost all of our clinicians create their own schedules to accommodate their personal lives.

Training and support

We provide ongoing training for our whole team, so you get the support you need. We have invested a lot into making sure our team feels that they have the tools they need to help their clients.
At JS Wellness, our team strives for excellence. This means special time set aside for case consults, group supervision and consult groups.
JS Wellness is incredibly innovative and forward thinking. This means there are plenty of opportunities for our clinicians to contribute to, or even develop their own projects. This might include podcasts, blogs, community events, and hosting training sessions. We are excited to hear your ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of post graduate experience
Master’s degree in psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Work
Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists, College of Alberta Social Workers (ACSW), Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA)
Provisional psychologists are welcome to apply so long as the College of Alberta Psychologists has approved credentials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc) and strong ability to type.
Strong and efficient report writing skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
