Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on construction sites, ensuring that work areas are tidy, debris-free, and compliant with safety regulations. This role is essential in supporting the overall progress of construction projects by providing efficient cleaning and facilities maintenance services.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of construction sites, including sweeping, dusting, and removing debris from work areas
Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and materials used on-site
Maintain cleanliness of temporary facilities such as portable restrooms and site offices
Assist with waste disposal and ensure proper segregation of recyclable materials
Support general facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a safe and organized work environment
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during cleaning activities
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate cleaning schedules to minimize disruption to ongoing work

Qualifications

Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures is a plus
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
