Job Overview

In this dynamic role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the diverse learning needs of children in early childhood education. Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as Math, English, and early childhood education.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect among students.
Use effective teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, including experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs.
Assess student progress regularly through observations, assignments, and assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to discuss student development and tailor instructional strategies accordingly.
Incorporate technology tools such as Microsoft Office applications and other computer skills to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
Manage classroom organization efficiently through strong time management and organizational skills, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Support tutoring sessions or additional learning activities to reinforce core concepts in subjects like Math or writing skills.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, including classroom experience in elementary Schools.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with young learners.
Demonstrated knowledge of teaching methodologies suitable for early childhood education and special education needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and basic computer skills for lesson planning and administrative tasks.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education requirements is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Writing skills necessary for preparing reports, lesson plans, and communication with parents or guardians.
