Full job description

The Edmonton Hotel & Convention Centre is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. This overnight role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and is committed to providing excellent guest service during evening hours.

At our hotel, we aim to create a “home away from home” experience for our guests through friendly, attentive, and professional service.

Position Details

Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (overnight)
Part-Time position

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and check in late-arriving guests; process check-outs as required
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and reservations in person and over the phone
Perform night audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions and reports
Reconcile payments, post charges, and ensure accuracy of all financial records
Prepare and distribute daily reports for management
Maintain front desk operations during overnight hours with minimal supervision
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure the safety and security of the property and guests during the night
Complete light cleaning and general front desk duties as required

Qualifications

Previous front desk or hotel experience is an asset
Strong attention to detail and basic accounting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks overnight
Strong communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
Comfortable working in a quiet, overnight environment
Reliable, professional, and customer-service focused
