Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth at Tint Express. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail sales, marketing, and store management within the automotive aftermarket industry. This role involves overseeing daily sales operations, developing strategic plans, and ensuring exceptional customer service to meet company objectives. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and supervising staff while managing budgets, pricing strategies, and merchandising efforts to optimize store performance. The candidate should also have the ability to upsell and explain automotive services such as ceramic window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, detailing, rust proofing, dashcams, accessories, and other vehicle customization services offered by Tint Express.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns for automotive services and packages
Oversee store operations including merchandising, pricing, inventory purchasing, and workflow coordination
Guide customers through Tint Express services including tints, PPF, ceramic coatings, detailing, electronics, and customization options
Manage payroll, cash handling, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy and compliance
Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure high performance standards
Supervise daily store activities such as cashiering, POS transactions, appointment scheduling, and customer service interactions
Monitor sales metrics, customer feedback, and service performance reports for senior management
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, promotions, and operational updates
Ensure adherence to company policies regarding store management, safety protocols, vehicle handling, and customer relations
Coordinate with installers and technicians to ensure smooth delivery timelines and quality control standards
Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent phone etiquette, organizational skills, and professional customer interaction

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively
Proven experience in retail management, supervising teams, and store operations
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual preferred)
Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic math for pricing and budgeting purposes
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training & development and team management
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks such as recruiting, scheduling, inventory coordination, and administrative duties
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced retail and automotive service environment
Experience in marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients
Sound knowledge of cash handling procedures, bookkeeping practices, and payroll processing
Understanding of automotive aftermarket services such as window tinting, PPF, ceramic coating, detailing, and vehicle electronics is considered a strong asset
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
