What we offer

As the Receptionist in Mattamy’s Etobicoke office, you’ll be the first point of connection for homeowners, visitors and team members, helping create a warm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive or call. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy office, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is energized by supporting a collaborative team through a variety of front desk, administrative and office coordination responsibilities.

What you’ll do

Create a warm, professional first impression by greeting homeowners, visitors and internal stakeholders, and connecting them with the appropriate team member.
Provide friendly, courteous and timely support to callers, helping direct inquiries and resolve general questions wherever possible.
Build familiarity with office teams and their functions to support smooth day-to-day communication and help homeowners reach the right person quickly.
Coordinate inbound and outbound mail, couriers and e-faxes, including the distribution of signed amendments and welcome packages.
Support a variety of administrative activities, including generating reports, drafting correspondence, data entry, reception filing, photocopying, e-faxing, distributing documents, word processing and organizing binders.
Support office event logistics, including coordinating food orders for Employee Appreciation Day, town halls and other team events.
Assist with office presentation and seasonal activities, including decorations, office treats and fruit order coordination.
Help maintain a polished, welcoming Reception area and main lobby that reflects Mattamy’s commitment to service and professionalism.
Other administrative duties as assigned.

What you bring

Post-secondary education in Administration, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist, Office Administrator or in a similar front-facing administrative role within a fast-paced corporate environment.
A strong customer service mindset, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional experience for homeowners, visitors, callers and internal stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone etiquette and the ability to ask clear questions, redirect inquiries and problem-solve quickly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and stay focused in a busy office environment.
A polished, professional and reliable presence, with strong punctuality, accountability and attention to detail.
A proactive, self-directed approach, with the ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information, internal requests and day-to-day office matters.
Careful attention to accuracy, with the ability to review documents, identify changes and follow through to ensure corrections are completed.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $40,000 – $58,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
