Summary

In a rapidly changing and evolving industry, EDPS Property Services has maintained its culture of quality and efficiency throughout the years. By understanding that the standards within the landscaping and snow removal industry are constantly changing and vary from customer to customer, EDPS strives to offer the top level of services with its practices and procedures. You, as a Foreperson/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Project & Site Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a landscape construction crew, including scheduling activities, managing site safety and quality, and assisting with site preparation.
Personnel & Training: Leading recruitment through secondary interviews, conducting on-site safety orientations for new hires, and providing ongoing employee training to ensure compliance with company and government standards.
Technical Execution: Operating heavy equipment and various power tools, interpreting blueprints and structural drawings, and assisting with the construction of walkways, fences, and decks.
Maintenance & Administration: Performing daily preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring all daily site logs, attendance tracking, and billing summaries are completed accurately.

Candidates must possess:

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience in the landscape/construction industry.
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills.
Physically fit due to strenuous physical labor, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly, working in various outdoor weather conditions, and maintaining flexible hours to meet project demands.
Experience with irrigation, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
