Job Overview

Metro Jet Wash Corporation is a leading provider of waste and recycling equipment service throughout Ontario. We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our growing Service Department.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair compactors, balers, pressure washers , scrubbers, catch basin covers, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
Complete basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment programming.
Perform light welding and fabrication as required.
Read and complete digital work orders and service reports.
Prepare repair recommendations and communicate with customers.
Assist with estimating jobs and ordering parts.
Lead service projects and provide guidance to other technicians when required.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing waste, industrial or heavy equipment.
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Basic welding and fabrication skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Valid G Driver's Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and digital work order systems.
