Fuel & Lube Technician

Location: Legacy Truck Wash
Job Type: Full-Time

Join the Legacy Truck Wash Team

Legacy Truck Wash is looking for a reliable and motivated Fuel & Lube Technician with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing team. If you take pride in maintaining trucks and equipment, value safety, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Position Summary

The Fuel & Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance services, including fueling, lubrication, fluid checks, oil changes, and equipment inspections on commercial trucks and heavy equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Fuel commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform oil and filter changes, lubrication, and preventative maintenance services.
Check and top up engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, and DEF levels.
Grease trucks and equipment according to manufacturer and company maintenance schedules.
Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
Report maintenance concerns and repair requirements to the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
Keep the work area, service truck, and equipment clean and organized.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with general shop and yard duties as required.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician or in a similar heavy-duty maintenance role.
Experience working with commercial trucks and heavy equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and fluid management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 3 is an asset).
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
