Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

MVP Oilfield Services Inc. is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team in Fort St. John, BC.

This is a full-time, in-office position that plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of our office.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being productive, is detail-oriented, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Position Details

Full-time, permanent
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Fort St. John, BC (in-office)

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper records.
Provide administrative support to the finance department.
Assist with filing, scanning, and document management.
Support other administrative and office duties as required.

Qualifications

Previous receptionist or office support role is considered an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English sufficient to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and vendors, and to prepare accurate business correspondence.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Sage is an asset but not necessary.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and accepts responsibility for their work.
