CMH is honored to operate in the traditional territories of the Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, Syilx, Sinixt, Carrier (Dakelh), and Stoney Nakoda Nations.

Position Title: General Expression of Interest

Location of Work: Various locations in BC (near Golden, Invermere and Valemount)

Employee Type: Full-time, seasonal from mid-June to early September

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview

As we are currently fully staffed, we will be in contact with top candidates as positions come available throughout the 2026 summer season. Please clearly state which position(s) are of interest to you in your cover letter.

CMH staff take a proactive approach to providing a high-quality guest experience and have a meticulous and committed work ethic. Their passion lies in positively impacting the guest experience by demonstrating proven customer service skills.

Available positions for the CMH Summer season are as follows:

Hospitality Services
Culinary Positions - Lodge Chef, Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, First Cook
Bartender
Equipment & Retail Specialist
Massage

Above positions are seasonal job opportunities. The CMH summer season runs from mid-June to early September. Daily rate of pay is based on a 10, 11, or 12-hour day depending on position, worked as a split shift. A typical schedule consists of 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Accommodation is available while on shift, at no extra cost, for staff joining our team.

Minimum Qualifications

Post-secondary education in hospitality field, preferred.
Food Safe Certificate if working in a culinary position.
First aid certificate, preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

This type of work is challenging and demanding. Successful staff are intrinsically motivated by a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences with our guests.

Work Environment:

This job is in a remote area of British Columbia. Employees are required to find their own way to and from the lodge for work shifts which includes driving on logging roads.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manual dexterity to operate job-specific equipment on a constant basis.
Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.

Other Duties as Assigned

With the evolution of CMH, the responsibilities of these positions may change, as may the details that are associated with many of the tasks. During these times of change, these positions require the flexibility and willingness to accept new responsibilities and potentially transfer others. It will also be the responsibility of any employee of CMH to be a positive influence on the transformation of our products and associated lines of business.

Compensation

A competitive daily rate will be provided, along with 4% vacation pay, gratuities and potential opportunities to heli-hike, as available. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
