Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring.

Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in meal preparation.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our food preparation processes run smoothly and efficiently. As a Prep Cook, you will assist in the meal preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry and eager to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards, ensuring safe food handling practices.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Help with cooking tasks as needed during busy service periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including washing dishes and sanitizing workstations.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
