About Us:

Targetts is a trusted local retailer specializing in windows, doors, and building supplies. We’re currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Fredericton team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Inspection

Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently
Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
Inspect materials for shortages, defects, or damage
Report discrepancies and damaged goods promptly

2. Inventory Management

Organize, label, and properly store inventory and materials
Maintain accurate inventory locations and records
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts
Help ensure inventory accuracy and warehouse organization

3. Order Fulfillment

Pick, pack, and stage customer and contractor orders accurately
Prepare materials for delivery or customer pickup
Verify orders prior to shipment or release
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles

4. Equipment Operation & Safety

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
Follow all company safety procedures and regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Perform routine equipment inspections and report concerns

5. Customer Service & Team Support

Assist contractors and customers with material pickups
Provide courteous and professional service at all times
Support warehouse, sales, and installation teams as required
Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications & Skills

Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to accurately handle inventory and paperwork
Basic computer skills considered an asset
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
