Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience while supporting the management team in achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling of team members.
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Supervise and support staff in their daily tasks, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Ensuring adherence to drink recipes and responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; hospitality experience is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff and customers.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
