Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Physician's Assistant (IMG) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to gain valuable clinical experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will support the physicians with patient treatment plans and post-procedure care, all while expanding their medical knowledge and skills.

Duties

Assist physicians with physical examinations, documenting, and reporting
Assist physicians with patient treatment plans and post-procedure care for patients
Assist with phone calls and note taking for patient charts
Prepare medical trays for procedures
Prep patients for procedures
Prepare requestions and send to appropriate facilities
Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, guiding patients through appointment processes, and ensuring comfort throughout their treatment plan
Support team and physicians to ensure day to day operations are met

Skills and Qualifications:

Medical graduate (IMG)
Excellent verbal communication skills and writing skills
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well independently and efficiently
Excellent time management skills
Experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
Ability to perform vital signs collection, intake procedures, and basic medication administration accurately
Experience working in hospital or outpatient clinics, including PICU or OR settings preferred
