Fix Auto Exploits Valley has an immediate opening for an Auto Body Technician to join our expanding team here in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Fix Auto Exploits Valley opened our doors in July of 2020. After seeing the large demand for auto body work in the Exploits Valley region, it was felt that the time was right to enter the market to serve the wonderful people of Grand Falls-Windsor and surrounding areas. This decision has served us well and we are now the leading collision shop in the area with many of the top insurance providers choosing Fix Auto Exploits Valley as their preferred and exclusive shop for insurance repairs.

Family owned and operated, Fix Auto Exploits Valley is backed by an ownership team that has successfully operated automotive and powersports businesses in the region dating back to 1965 and, paired with the Fix Auto Network, Canada's largest automotive aftermarket services group, we have a partnership that is not only a wealth of knowledge in the industry, but that ensures that every customer that walks through our door is handled with the utmost care and that our team is highly skilled and trained to meet and exceed their expectations.

We know what it takes to be successful, and we prepared to hit the ground running with a dedicated team that takes pride in their work, loves what they do and wants to deliver a top notch customer service experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review estimates and damage reports
Replace and/or repair body panels, doors, frames, interiors and other vehicle components
Grind and sand body surfaces in preparation for repair
Mask and tape body surfaces in preparation for paint
Weld panels, chassis and other structures as required
Paint complete vehicles or new/repaired auto body panels
Maintain shop cleanliness and workspace
Manage time and work efficiently to ensure jobs are completed within the parameters set out

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS

Minimum 3+ year auto body repair experience (Journeyman preferred)
Exceptional attention to detail
The ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Strong work ethic and hustle
Positive attitude
Able to manage time wisely and complete jobs efficiently and inside of deadlines without compromising quality.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
