Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Foreman to join our team in Clairmont. This full-time role is vital in overseeing machining and welding operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency at our facility.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the machine shop team to meet production goals.
Oversee machining processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Train and mentor shop personnel for skill development.
Maintain accurate documentation of operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
Proficiency in ERP systems. E2 or Jobboss is an asset.
Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Effective communication skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
