We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Buyer.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Assist buyers and purchasing managers with daily procurement activities;
Create and process purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies;
Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages or overstock situations;
Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status;
Track shipments and resolving delivery or quality issues;
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases;
Compare vendor quotes and help negotiate pricing when needed;
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

High school diploma required; diploma or degree in business, supply chain, or procurement preferred;
1–2 years of purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience is an asset;
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems;
Strong organizational and communication skills;
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
