Full job description

Exterior Foreman – Decks & Interlock

Prime Contractors is seeking an experienced and motivated Exterior Foreman to lead residential landscape and outdoor construction projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

We specialize in high-quality interlock, decks, fences, privacy walls, pergolas, landscaping, and exterior renovations. We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage projects from start to finish while maintaining exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise crews on residential exterior construction projects
Manage all aspects of deck and interlock installations from layout to completion
Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and project specifications
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction
Train and mentor crew members while maintaining a productive work environment
Communicate with homeowners, suppliers, and management regarding project progress
Troubleshoot site issues and provide practical solutions when challenges arise
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in interlock, hardscaping, decks, and exterior construction
Proven experience leading and managing construction crews
Strong knowledge of interlock installation, grading, base preparation, deck framing, fencing, and exterior carpentry
Ability to read plans and accurately measure and lay out projects
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate construction equipment and power tools safely
Must be punctual, dependable, and take pride in quality workmanship

Preferred Experience

Interlock and hardscape construction
Composite and pressure-treated deck construction
Privacy walls, pergolas, and fencing
Landscaping and sod installation
Equipment operation (skid steer, mini excavator, plate tamper, etc.)
