Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Laborer to join our growing general contracting team. Our work includes landscape construction and residential projects such as decks, fences, natural stone, interlock, concrete, interior and exterior painting, flooring, and tiling. This role is hands-on and physically active, supporting a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience with carpentry, stone laying, or concrete work, is dependable, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. This position offers long-term growth opportunities for the right individual.

Duties

Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
Prepare work areas by clearing debris, setting up tools, and organizing materials
Support carpentry, masonry, and concrete work including decks, fences, stone, and interlock installation
Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, leveling, and moving heavy materials
Assist skilled tradespeople with measuring, cutting, mixing, and installation tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites throughout all project phases
Follow all safety procedures and job-site regulations
Assist with minor repairs, maintenance, and finishing work as directed by supervisors

Qualifications

Some experience in carpentry, stone work, concrete, or landscaping construction required
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to safety and proper tool usage
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
