Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our dynamic distribution team. This role involves selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, heavy equipment, and inventory management systems. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment.

Duties

Accurately pick and pack orders using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, crane, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods during transportation
Maintain organization of inventory, ensuring stock levels are accurate and products are stored correctly
Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and labeling
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
Support warehouse management in optimizing storage solutions and workflow processes
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members

Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, crane, clamp trucks, and other machinery
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management
Experience with order picker devices and load & unload procedures preferred
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required

This role is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely delivery of products. We value safety, accuracy, and teamwork in our work environment.

Pay: $17.50-$24.00 per hour
