Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a passion for food, ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves overseeing food preparation, line cooking, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards.
Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food handling practices, and safety protocols.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving kitchen operations and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience as a cook is required; culinary training is a plus.
