Firm Formwork is seeking Formwork Journeyperson Carpenters and a Layout Carepnter to join our growing team. We are a small formwork contractor with big plans. We are building a team from the ground up. If you have formwork experience or want to learn, get in touch! All new formwork equipment. Knowledge of Doka Wall & Deck Systems is considered an asset.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / EXPERIENCE:

Working on multi-story (9+ Floors) commercial construction sites
Working within formwork, building panels for footings, slabs, retaining walls, stairs, etc.
Able to get to the site for 7 AM
Knowledge of Doka Wall & Deck Systems is considered an asset.
Total Station [Layout Carpenter Position]

WORK CONDITIONS:

Site located in downtown Halifax – Parking is paid
Working outside – exposure to the elements
Wages are at Union rates and also include medical/dental benefits and Pension contributions.
