Full job description

Job Summary

Our client, a Halifax based e-commerce company, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Online Sales Clerk to join the team. This role involves managing online sales platforms, maintaining accurate product listings, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, proficiency with office software, and experience with data entry and database management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in e-commerce operations within a dynamic environment.
The position is open to holder of a PR or Canadian citizens only.

Duties

Manage and update product listings across various online sales platforms
Enter data accurately into databases and ERP systems to ensure inventory and sales records are current
Process online orders, including verifying details and coordinating shipments
Maintain organized digital files and records related to sales transactions
Assist with data collection for sales analysis and reporting purposes
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking sales metrics and inventory levels
Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

Office experience with familiarity in clerical procedures and administrative tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and ERP systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent computer skills including data entry, typing, and file management
Experience with data collection and analysis for sales reporting purposes
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Prior clerical or administrative experience is preferred but not required
Good communication skills to assist customers via email or chat platforms
1-2 years in a similar position.
There is an opportunity for graduates with limited experience willing to learn
knowledge of social media marketing is an added advantage

This position is ideal for candidates who are highly organized, tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to an expanding online sales operation.
