Full job description

Roofing Labourer / Roofer

We are currently hiring motivated and dependable individuals to join our roofing team. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in construction and the skilled trades, offering hands-on experience with a variety of roofing projects.

Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while contributing to high-quality roofing solutions. Previous construction or handyman experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Duties

* Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various hand tools and construction equipment.

* Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up safety barriers.

* Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper waterproofing and weatherproofing.

* Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

* Assist with carpentry tasks related to framing or structural adjustments, as needed.

* Utilize general handyman skills to complete miscellaneous repairs and on-site tasks.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or roofing is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

* Familiarity with hand tools.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

* Experience with general handyman work or construction is considered an asset.

* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a variety of tasks and projects.

* Must be fluent in English.

Wages are based on experience and range from $18.00 to $40.00 per hour.
