Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location: Brantford, ON

Pay Range: 20.00

Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

Place bottles on automatic filler, ensuring proper bottles, inserts, and pumps are used for the product being filled.
Verify the condition of bottles, inserts, and pumps, notifying supervisors of any issues.
Apply sleeves/labels on bottles and cartridges, ensuring all are in acceptable condition.
Assemble and tape boxes, ensuring quality standards are met, and notify supervisors of any defects.
Lift boxes of product onto skids, secure caps or lids, and stack boxes for safe transport within the plant.

What's Needed?

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
Physical ability to lift up to 15 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to detail to identify irregularities and packaging
Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
