Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry. Prior experience in roofing, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in construction while contributing to high-quality roofing projects.

Duties

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and other roofing supplies
Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
Support carpentry tasks related to framing, sheathing, and structural adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on site
Assist with general construction tasks including measuring, cutting, and material handling
Perform handyman duties such as minor repairs or adjustments around the job site as required

Experience

Prior experience with hand tools, construction sites, or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory
Experience with caulking, waterproofing, or roofing techniques is a plus
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights for extended periods
Handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on different projects

This position provides valuable hands-on experience in the roofing industry within a supportive team environment. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to successful project completion.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
