We currently have a position available for a Comp. Host / Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Key Responsibilities
- Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
- Offer predetermined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection’s origin, taste and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Assist in set-up of linen, glass, silver and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets and food stations.
- Help maintain orderly department as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Other task may be assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Minimum two years of related experience in similar establishment.
- Must have a strong F&B knowledge.
- Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.
- Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
- Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
