Full job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with hands-on experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 to create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC equipment, and can work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality components.

Pay rate : $30/hour - $40/hour ( based on experience)

Shifts Available: Days

Duties

Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe machines using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software to meet engineering specifications and production deadlines.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
Set up CNC machines, including Fanuc controls, ensuring proper calibration and tooling alignment.
Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and related equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Conduct test runs of programs, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and machining parameters for quality control and repeatability.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to refine designs for manufacturability.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions during setup and production.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist with assembly, welding, or other secondary operations as needed within the manufacturing workflow.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in CNC programming with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Proficiency in operating Fanuc controls on CNC machines.
Experience programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD models.
Knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations.
Understanding of tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for collaborating across departments effectively.
5+ years of CNC programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma CNC controls.
Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Trade certification or diploma in CNC machining, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering technology.
