Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French baking, with significant experience in the preparation and baking of croissants and Danish pastries.

As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our standards for taste, consistency, and presentation. This role is essential in delivering exceptional products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare, laminate dough, and bake a variety of products, including croissants, breads, and French-style Danish pastries
Decorate baked items to enhance visual appeal in line with Tartelette standards
Follow Tartelette recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
Display baked goods in showcases, ensuring proper presentation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory and baking supplies
Provide excellent customer service when required by engaging with customers and addressing their needs

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in croissant and pastry production
Strong knowledge of French pastry techniques, especially croissants and laminated doughs
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Proficiency in food handling techniques
Strong skills in decorating and presentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent attention to detail and creativity
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
