Job Overview
Top notch organization is seeking a skilled and bilingual (English and French) Appliance Repair Technician specializing in commercial appliances for the Ottawa Region. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial appliances to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity for career growth and to work with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality appliance repair services across various commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial appliances using electrical, mechanical, and schematic knowledge
Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of appliances, including including commercial ranges, refrigeration and a variety of commercial cooking appliances. le
Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to accurately identify problems and implement solutions
Assemble, install, or replace appliance components as needed
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and professionally
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Assist in training or mentoring junior technicians when required

Skills

3 to 5 years Commercial Appliance repair.
Ontario Gas Fitters License preferred or in progress.
Mechanical knowledge related to appliance systems and components
Proven experience in appliance repair within a commercial environment
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French(bilingual), verbal and written.
Experience with assembly of appliance parts and systems is desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance.
Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
Valid Passport for travel to the USA.
