Executive & Personal Assistant to Studio Owner (Part-Time)
Location: Kelowna, BC
Hours: 20–25 hours/week (part-time)
Compensation: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience, plus unlimited yoga and staff discounts

About Us
Our Yoga Space is a community-focused yoga studio in Kelowna, offering daily yoga classes from Vinyasa to Yin to breathwork + meditation in an infrared heated room that is quiet, peaceful and spacious. We offer regular workshops and gatherings and our mission is to create a warm, inclusive space for people to move, breathe, and connect. We’re looking for a right-hand Executive & Personal Assistant to support our owner/operator so she can focus on teaching, clients, and community.

Role Summary
This role is the owner’s key support person across operations, content, admin, and light personal errands. You’ll help keep the studio organized, support our Events Manager with logistics as needed, and keep the owner focused and on time. If you’re proactive, health-minded, and love getting things done, this role is for you.

You will work closely with the Studio Owner and collaborate with our Events Manager, teachers, and social media specialist to keep communication and logistics running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Owner Support & Personal Assistance

· Support the owner’s time management, priorities, and deadlines; provide reminders and light project tracking.

· Create and maintain simple spreadsheets and trackers for studio needs (and occasionally personal ones).

· Handle occasional coffee/lunch runs.

· Take care of small personal errands such as picking up skincare or household items, grabbing last‑minute gifts (for example, a child’s teacher or a kid’s birthday party), or similar one‑off tasks a few times a month.

Content & Marketing Support

Own the filming schedule for social media content; film the owner in studio and on-site as needed.
Coordinate with our social media specialist to ensure required footage is captured on time.
Draft and send studio newsletters in alignment with our brand voice and marketing calendar.

Operations & Facilities

Support day-to-day studio tasks and “fixings,” including organizing vendors for repairs and maintenance when something is broken, clogged, or needs attention.
Track and schedule routine facility items, such as vent filter changes and fire extinguisher testing/replacement.
Run occasional errands for the studio (and occasionally personal ones related to the family or home).

Events & Community

Help the owner stay aware of and prepared for upcoming celebrations, gatherings, and studio events (timelines, reminders, personal to-dos, simple logistics).
Support our Events Manager with light administrative and communication tasks related to events (for example, teacher reminders, collecting details, or sharing basic event information with clients, poster distribution), as directed.
Coordinate with teachers and other team members as needed to ensure they have the information they need from the owner’s side.

Tech & Systems

Learn and support use of studio software (Mariana Tek) for basic tasks and troubleshooting.
Assist with computer organization and tech setup (file management, backups, moving items to hard drive, basic tech problem-solving).

Schedule

Approximately 20–25 hours per week to start.
A mix of on-site hours at the studio and some flexible/admin time that may be done remotely.
Occasional evenings or weekends for special events or workshops.

Compensation & Perks

$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
