Pirate Cove Marina is hiring! We have a full-time opportunity for a Warranty Administrator.
Overview:
A warranty administrator guides all phases of the repair process when a replacement part is in need for boats and other marine products that have warranties.

Reports to: Service Manager
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Submit warranty pre-authorizations on a timely basis, according to manufacturer guidelines, on multiple manufacturer portals, using information and pictures collected by technicians while unit is in service.
- Ensuring information from technicians is correct and accurate during warranty submittal.
- Tracking claim approval statuses and resolving any questions between submissions and manufacturers.
- Providing updates to service department staff on claim statuses.
- Adjusting and resubmitting any denied claims.
- Coordinating and interfacing with parts manufacturers directly, if they hold warranty.
- Providing oversight and assistance to service department staff, including information on warranty expiration dates, recall information, and general warranty inquiries.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in service/service management.
- Knowledge of the marine industry is an asset.
- Proven experience in sales, customer relations, or related positions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer services skills.
- Problem solving and listening skills.
- Patient disposition to resolve conflicts.
- Knowledgeable in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledgeable in industry-specific software.
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
