Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate transporting routes efficiently. The Transport Driver plays a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after trips.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid class 1A driver’s license.
Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and clients.
Good navigation skills and familiarity with local routes or GPS systems.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery documentation and adherence to schedules.
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
