Full job description

Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices

We are seeking experienced Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices for a project located in Kimberly, British Columbia.

Shift:

10 days on 4 days off rotation

10-hour minimum workdays (2-hour OT daily)

Wages:

Wages vary from $27.38 - 45.63/hr full time, plus Vacation and Statutory holiday pay.

Roles and responsibilities:

Experience in the construction, erection and installation of wood and engineered formwork systems for decks, columns and walls (Doka, Peri, Aluma).
Build hoarding/temporary structures and various carpentry duties
Having good knowledge of the construction, erection and installation of wood and engineered formwork systems for decks, columns and walls
Complying with jurisdictional and company safety standards and policies
Erecting and building scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks
Completing task hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment
Apprentices should have skills appropriate to their years in the trade
Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and work within a crew accordingly
