Landscaping Crew Leads (Hiring Multiple Positions)

Just For Snow | Seasonal (April–November) | Full-Time | $20-30

We are building a reliable, high-performance grounds management team focused on delivering consistent, high-quality service across commercial properties. At Just For Snow, we take pride in maintaining clean, professional outdoor spaces through dependable service, attention to detail, and strong teamwork.

We specialize in commercial landscaping and property maintenance, including lawn care, landscaping, litter removal, and seasonal clean-ups. Every property is managed with a tailored approach to ensure it is maintained to the highest standard, allowing our clients to focus on their business while we handle the upkeep.

We are hiring Landscaping Crew Leads who are dependable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Role Overview

As a Landscaping Crew Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a field team while actively participating in daily landscaping and grounds maintenance work. This role requires strong leadership, accountability, and a hands-on approach to delivering high-quality results on every site.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Grounds Maintenance

Perform landscaping and property maintenance tasks, including:
Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
Pruning, mulching, and garden bed maintenance
Seasonal clean-ups
Litter and debris removal on commercial properties
Assist with installation of landscaping materials such as mulch and decorative rock
Support completion of job sites to ensure clean, professional, client-ready results

Crew Lead Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a crew of 2–4 team members in daily operations
Assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure efficient job completion
Inspect work to ensure quality standards are consistently met or exceeded
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, efficiency, and safety
Lead by example through active participation in field work
Coordinate daily scheduling and job progress with office staff and management
Communicate professionally with clients on-site when required
Report site updates, issues, and client feedback to management
Maintain accurate job records, including labour and materials tracking
Operate company truck and trailer to transport crew, tools, and materials

Mandatory Requirements

Reliable transportation
Access to a smartphone
Ability to complete all required training (equipment, safety, and operational systems)
Valid G-class driver’s licence (or higher) with a clean driving abstract
Consent to driver’s abstract verification

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform sustained outdoor physical labour in varying weather conditions
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and equipment use
Ability to work in environments with exposure to heat, cold, sun, noise, dust, pollen, and landscaping materials
