What’s the role?
As an Electrical Automation Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll bring your expertise to integrate innovative technologies, optimize systems and costs, and lead our plant to new heights. You will work closely with our production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
What You'll Do?
- Be a Safety Champion: Lead by example to create a culture of safety and compliance.
- Innovate and Automate: Develop and document cutting-edge process algorithms in PLCs and HMIs.
- Hands-On Equipment Oversight: Oversee the installation and testing of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment.
- Project Management Rockstar: Help develop and review contractor plans, ensuring every detail is perfect. Lead projects and contractors to successful outcomes.
- Maintenance Guru: Create and refine maintenance procedures to keep everything running smoothly.
- System Wizardry: Establish and maintain our electrical control equipment and instrument management systems.
- Technical Troubleshooter: Provide top-notch technical support and lead root cause analysis to solve any issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Work with various departments to ensure equipment effectiveness and reliability.
- Energy Efficiency Expert: Drive energy cost and efficiency improvements across our operations.
- Data-Driven Improver: Monitor and enhance manufacturing processes through data analysis.
- Jack of All Trades: Be ready to take on any additional duties that come your way!
What You Bring
Education: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
Experience: 4+ years thriving in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Skills:
- Programming Pro: You can program PLCs with easy, and are comfortable with different HMIs.
- Power Distribution Whiz: Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, UPS, lighting.
- Instrumentation Genius
- Equipment Connoisseur: Understanding of VFDs, valves, pumps, robots, conveyors.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with bonus points for ERP and CMMS system experience.

Our Working Conditions
The standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Most of the work occurs during regular weekday office hours. However, as an international company with frequent interaction with head office, hours of work involved may vary to accommodate differences in time zones. Flexibility is key – sometimes you'll need to dive into evening or weekend work.
