Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food service operations, and ensuring a high standard of hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, experience in food handling, and a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping and ingredient organization
Support kitchen staff with food handling and storage to maintain safety and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and workstations
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently to uphold hygiene standards
Support serving staff during busy periods by clearing tables and assisting with basic hospitality duties when required

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred
Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory
