Full job description

Join Our Growing Farm Team!

Nature’s Farm is a locally owned poultry and food production operation committed to high standards of animal welfare, food safety, and product quality. We are currently looking for a reliable, hands-on Farm Assistant to join our barn and production team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Daily care of birds including feeding, watering, and welfare checks

· Walking barns to identify sick or injured birds

· Egg collection, washing, grading, and carton packing

· Maintaining barn temperature, lighting, and comfort levels for birds

· Following strict biosecurity and sanitation procedures

· Assisting with order preparation and staging for delivery

· General barn maintenance including watering and heating systems

· Supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and product quality standards

· Actively participating in our FSSC 22000 food safety program

· Other farm and production duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

· Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn

· Comfortable working with animals and in a farm environment

· Able to follow procedures and pay close attention to detail

· Physically capable of standing, lifting, and working in barn conditions

· Team-oriented with a positive attitude

· Previous farm, production, or food handling experience is an asset but not required
