Custodian, Casual Position

Purpose of the position

While working in a team environment, this position will ensure the daily operational, maintenance, and custodial duties of County facilities.

To be successful in this position, you will hold these qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Janitorial or related labour experience working in a safety sensitive environment
Knowledge of commercial janitorial standards
Current First Aid certification, WHMIS, and Food Safe are assets
Certification in Building Maintenance 1 is an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required
Possess strong skills within the scope of performing custodial duties
Have good conflict resolution skills.
Willingness to take training to develop in the field of work

Wage: $23.50 to $33.35 hourly
Hours on an as needed basis
May include days, evenings, and weekends
