Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our sleep and wellness team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires familiarity with electronic medical records, and office management systems to ensure smooth daily operations within a growing sleep clinic.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures at the front desk
Schedule appointments using electronic medical records systems such as Jane App
Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments accordingly
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
Collect and update patient information accurately in electronic medical records
Manage correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail related to patient care
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management

Requirements

Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Office Receptionist is highly preferred
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Jane App
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and patient information
Experience handling multi-line phone systems efficiently
Office experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
